Dash: Hah, you might’ve sealed me up after Standard 6, but wasn’t that 6 years the best part of your life? Ahh, I’m sure you missed the times where we got into fights, 5 against you alone eh? Let those bastards cry when they see their precious rackets go down the river for trying to bully you! You might’ve rained stones down people’s houses or explored the sewers behind the school, but hey, its YOUR Childhood, and you loved it. Admit it, you released me two and a half years ago and aren’t you glad you did? You wouldn’t be what you are now without me. Think of the community you are part of now, think of the role you play, ain’t you glad you ain’t an outcast as before? Books are dead dear. Sure, it makes a great read, but books don’t talk back and they can’t detect your feelings. People can. Believe in people and they’ll return the favour. Live a life of no regrets, enjoy life while you can. Studying is important, of course, but its not the holy grail of your life. In the end, its all about living a perfect life and your job will only be one of the means, not the end. I am You.

Heal: Because of me, you’re liked everywhere due to your mildness by parents and friends alike. Your intellectual base brought you the path of least resistance everywhere you went and this will be the case in the future too, do not throw your future away, seal that delinquent up and come with me. Your job is your hobby, how imperfect can that be? Ace your studies and head off to the US, that’s the least you can do for your parents and siblings, to repay them and allow your siblings a better study life.

Dash: Oh? Weren’t you the stuttering fool who couldn’t talk without preparing a speech beforehand? You still do, of course, but at least you can be spontaneous now. Come on, being mild is one thing, being boring is another. Enjoy life, and enjoy your friends. Even if you can’t get to go to the US, come on, you don’t like studying anyways, you never did. Why not Journalism? You can write as well as any other, if not better. And hell, Accountancy and doing business is a good thing too, you might even actually achieve all your dreams at once! Don’t forget starting your own publishing company, for the community, sponsoring your own research efforts, earning enough to set you up for life! You have the guts for risks, hell, the family has always been a pioneer in networking. Didn’t your granddad have blood brothers in China, Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia? He’s a classic rags to riches example, from a fisherman to a construction company head and now he gambles with deeds instead of cash. Your other great-granddad was one of the few people who had a gun license during the Jap Occupation! Be proud! If he didn’t sell off the land he owned then, you all would’ve been billionaires by now. Its in your blood, I’M in your blood.
